SMA has developed patent pending technology to enhance the performance of these systems while improving the coupling of standard metal halide and Xenon lamps into small fibers by 2x. We can collect the output of multiple LED clusters, such as the new Cree XP-E LED or AccuLed, and couple them efficiently into a single flexible plastic fiber, homogenizing the output at the same time.
