This lens is designed to project a 72 inch diagonal screen image from 3 transmissive 0.55 inch LCD panels combined with a high-index X-cube. The distortion is less than 0.05%, the lateral color is less than 1 micron, polychromatic MTF is 85% at 46 cpmm on axis, and better than 65% (average S&T) throughout the field. Illumination rolls off to 72% in the extreme corners of the screen. The projection distance for the 72 inch screen is 47 inches.

The lens measures 75mm vertex-to-vertex, and the barrel diameter is approximately 35mm. Common Schott glasses are combined with plastic aspheres for high performance at low cost in high volumes.
