SMA Optical Technologies has extensive experience in the design of optical systems, encompassing imaging, illumination, digital data storage, (both disk and tape format), laser scanning, and various optical systems related to aerial photography. Moreover, we are experienced in ultra-precise alignment of optical systems in a low volume production environment. Combining advanced degrees with many years of experience in both optics and mechanical engineering, we incorporate appropriate mounting and packaging techniques to stabilize the systems we design. Close ties to specialized design and fabrication facilities enable the construction of engineering models, proof-of-concept models, and prototypes.
